Andreas Lukic is the co-founder and managing director of ValueNet Capital Partners GmbH, based in Frankfurt and Munich. Founded in 2000, the company is a private investment and advisory firm specializing in business succession, management buyouts/buy-ins, and M&A transactions. It also invests in growth-oriented companies from the corporate, SME, and startup sectors and supports their development.

He serves on several advisory boards and is the chairman of Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V., Business Angels Mittelhessen e.V., and Business Angels Rhein-Neckar e.V.

Before founding ValueNet, Andreas Lukic worked at Bain & Company (London, Munich) in the Private Equity Group, focusing on buyouts, growth financing, and venture capital. He began his career at Mitchell Madison Group (New York, Frankfurt) in investment advisory. He holds degrees in chemical engineering, economics, and applied cultural studies. He is married and a father.

Having lived in the USA, UK, and Munich, he has chosen Frankfurt as his home since 1999 and has been active as a business angel ever since, personally investing in numerous startups.

Andreas Lukic plays a key role in building the startup financing ecosystem in Frankfurt’s financial hub. He leads business angel associations in the FrankfurtRheinMain region and supports initiatives in areas like artificial intelligence and SME startups. Furthermore he is involved in programs such as the EY Startup Academy and the Frankfurt Sprungfeder of MCF and has initiated and led events like the FintechGermany Award.

He is also a co-author of the Practical Handbook for Financing Innovations. In collaboration with local and federal authorities, he contributes to various committees, including the Council of State Chancelleries of the FrankfurtRheinMain region, FrankfurtForward, the Financial Hub FFM Vision Group, and the “Financing Chain/VC” working group.
